Firearms and related is all out of my league. Can anyone tell me, is body armor legal for a civilian to own?

Sorry I was wrong. AB needs a special permit legally.

          Pic and coverage on Global.

For sure will fire up gun ban rhetoric. Big image damage to the whole deal the way it is being presented.
RCMP seem to want to separate it but that will quickly go by the wayside unless more detail goes mainstream.

Looks like have to wait for court cases to get any real detail.

BP I'm curious why you think that is better. Just my thinking but if they were already banned weapons it would help illustrate that bans dont stop bad guys with guns. If they are legal firearms that were intended to do illegal things, to me that just gives more "ammo" to the anti gun crowd?

Hopefully they give some more background on who these people are, curious if these were locals or imports. Hope its some organized nut bar group and not a bunch of farmers. I did read something about the CBSA turning back US citizens coming up to join the protests, didn't provide any numbers. So many people wrapped up in violent video games and tv/movies these days might make for some blurry lines between reality and make believe for some.

Thank god I never did. Careful boys. Most of your wealth should be sitting out the front window on your home quarter.
So basically no skin in the game other than a Keyboard and Agriville.

I'm sure since January 6 the FBI and American security agencies have greatly expanded their database of alt-right activists and supporters. On our side of the border the RCMP have more names and faces to watch. Maybe if they'd worn masks the facial recognition software wouldn't work so well. Many people have sympathy for removing the covid mandates but when guns are involved it's a whole new game. F*** around and find out is the old saying.
