People are allowed to protest in a peacefull way but you are not allowed to block border crossings or highways, take over and occupy cities illegally, or call for the overthrow of a democratically elected government, or meet police with guns and violence.

As I have asked before what happened to all the law and order conservatives? Some in The CPC have sided with the illegal blockades and have endorsed the breaking of laws.

For all the truck owners and companies that are illegally blocking border crossing and occupying Ottawa, if you don't go home, expect your bank accounts and corporate accounts to be frozen. Criminal and illegal activities should be punished with the full extent of the laws.

The stated goal of some of the occupiers was to overthrow the government and hang Trudeau. Once they found guns and ammo and a plan to attack police in Coutts then there is every chance that some extremists are also in Ottawa. The targeted emergencies act is justified.

If you don't like the current mandates or the current governments you get your chance to vote in the next election.

When you consider that just over 20% of eligible Canadian voters voted for Justin Trudeau and he believes and acts like a dictator, what would happen if he had a majority? Premier Legault of Quebec wants no part of the EMA, unfortunately we don’t have an unbiased media to tell us how it is applied differently in Quebec than the rest of Canada, if it is applied at all!

That's because they haven't told us the targeted details.

If you think Trudeau is a dictator you really need help. He can be voted out of office in the next election.

I thought you were a supporter of law and order? Hamloc you still support illegal blockades and occupations?

Where in my post did I say I didn’t support law and order. I did certainly say that what Justin Trudeau is doing is government over reach. Four provinces said they didn’t want the EMA. Ontario had already declared a state of emergency. There was no vote in Parliament in favour of enacting the EMA. The city of Ottawa made an agreement with the protesters to contain their protest to a certain area. Why was the EMA necessary? Government having the ability to unilaterally freeze bank accounts doesn’t concern you?

As for border blockades I have already stated I did not agree with the borders being shut down. Canada is a trading nation.

Your feeling a lot more secure today Chuck?
This is the way you think your country should be governed?
You think anyone with a vehicle parked in an arbitrarily designated zone deserves a parking ticket or thier bank acounts frozen? Who chooses?

Take the only people with the knowledge and skills and credentials to tow the vehicles, and put them in jail.

Keeping in mind that most tow truck drivers will also know most local law enforcement, because they often work together. And will have to work together in the future. Often in very unfortunate situations, that serves to strengthen the bond. Good luck convincing the police to enforce this.

These fools have been trying to bring in their marxist utopia garbage since the Eisenhower administration.

                      Q

Or maybe 3 weeks ago when the convoy left Surrey a local plumber donated $50. Now Ms Freeland freezes the company account? That's appropriate in this situation?

Mr Treudau seemed to have only 2 choices. Sit home and do nothing or revoke the rights of all Canadians?
