They aren't our friends. It should never have gotten so far as to having to freeze bank accounts. By dragging it out it has been blown into a much worse situation. It has gone from being a vaccine mandate protest to an attempt to weaken the democracy and the system of government. People who had a legitimate issue were eclipsed by wannabe revolutionaries supported by foreign money. It's a bad situation and it's not going to end in the next few days. The genie is out of the lamp.
The whole problem. Going into secondary "causes" is pointless.
They weren't asking the Sock Puppet to come out and take a knee.
Just talk. But he still refuses.
And now he refuses to even talk with the rest of our elected representatives.
So, who is it that is trying to weaken democracy and dispense with government, again? Just stick with the facts and avoid silly speculation and rumors, please.

But if we are talking influence, lets have an audit of the Trudeau foundation. Lets see if any of the billions he sent overseas came back in the foundation. Global money laundering scheme.
And why not have a talk with Obama who directly inserted himself into the 2019 election.

Maybe if there hadn't been American funded protests against Canadian development we'd have more pipelines. The American money and influence can stay home. I'll say it again. They are not our friends. They are a neighbor we should build a respectful relationship with but that's difficult when we're dwarfed by them in every way.
However, I maintain that if we had a real leader who would have discussed rather than dissed,, this would never have gotten this far.
It's not over, either. I just hope and pray every day that the protestors will stay calm and be very cautious about infiltrators.
The insane dictator would like nothing better than to see it get ugly and then he will appear justified in his crackdown. That's why he planted the swastika and confederate flags there at the very beginning.
He deemed that as a necessity since there was absolutely nothing else he could pin on the protestors.

After all of the hype, and seeing all the unmasked, unvaccinated and out of shape truckers notpracticing any social distancing, I have been awaiting the surge of covid in the Ottawa region. And finally it is happening:
I thought maybe the reason they waited so long to act, was that they were so convinced about the lethality of Covid, and the effectiveness of the vaccine and mandates, that the entire strategy was to wait until all the truckers died of Covid, and then just collect the bodies and say, see I told you so. Apparently they ran out of patience.Last edited by AlbertaFarmer5; Feb 18, 2022, 10:03.
