That Trudeaus vision is to destroy Canada and turn it into a northern gulag. It was evident about 6 months into his term. No person on the planet would try to stop its number one resource export. Knew it right then. Canada is so much poorer than it was 5 yrs ago.

The EMA drama is just a stall tactic, gives him 7 days to bring the hammer, test out the social credit system.

It has to be voted on by monday night. The senate is going to kill it. So he has to get the rabble cleaned out by then.

The west gave Quebec $600B but they gave us something very valuable in return - the Clarity Act. I honestly think we might see a double separation, Quebec and AB at the same time.

Pretty sure Kenney is toast. The ground is moving beneath his feet. Just have to make sure Notley doesnt slip back in.

How's the overthrow of the government going? Your guy on the "inside" is looking nervous.

trudeau has shown his weakness as a leader. First he hides in the weeds; then he overreacts. That's what weak people do. I dislike foreign money coming in to support the protestors as much as I disliked foreign money coming in to support pipeline and logging protestors. In both cases it came from the US. They aren't our friends. It should never have gotten so far as to having to freeze bank accounts. By dragging it out it has been blown into a much worse situation. It has gone from being a vaccine mandate protest to an attempt to weaken the democracy and the system of government. People who had a legitimate issue were eclipsed by wannabe revolutionaries supported by foreign money. It's a bad situation and it's not going to end in the next few days. The genie is out of the lamp.

Correction, white guys from the west. Quebecers and GTA alum in the protest and supporters will be spared even though they make up a good portion of the donation list.

You know, jensend, if you had stopped after your first few sentences, you would have very succinctly have captured the whole problem.

The whole problem. Going into secondary "causes" is pointless.

They weren't asking the Sock Puppet to come out and take a knee.

Just talk. But he still refuses.

And now he refuses to even talk with the rest of our elected representatives.

So, who is it that is trying to weaken democracy and dispense with government, again? Just stick with the facts and avoid silly speculation and rumors, please.

trudeau isn't the whole problem. Do you really want foreign influence in any of the issues facing Canada? Maybe if there hadn't been American funded protests against Canadian development we'd have more pipelines. The American money and influence can stay home. I'll say it again. They are not our friends. They are a neighbor we should build a respectful relationship with but that's difficult when we're dwarfed by them in every way.

I dont want any influence on our elections, from foreign donors, or even our own MSM.

But if we are talking influence, lets have an audit of the Trudeau foundation. Lets see if any of the billions he sent overseas came back in the foundation. Global money laundering scheme.

And why not have a talk with Obama who directly inserted himself into the 2019 election.

I certainly fully agree with everything in your post.

However, I maintain that if we had a real leader who would have discussed rather than dissed,, this would never have gotten this far.

It's not over, either. I just hope and pray every day that the protestors will stay calm and be very cautious about infiltrators.

The insane dictator would like nothing better than to see it get ugly and then he will appear justified in his crackdown. That's why he planted the swastika and confederate flags there at the very beginning.

He deemed that as a necessity since there was absolutely nothing else he could pin on the protestors.

This wouldn't be a crisis if not for trudeau. It could have been dealt with much sooner. There may have been vehicle seizures and mischief arrests but if resolved right away the protests wouldn't have been coopted by malign influences. This is going to be an ongoing issue. Canada is now seen as a soft target.

After all of the hype, and seeing all the unmasked, unvaccinated and out of shape truckers notpracticing any social distancing, I have been awaiting the surge of covid in the Ottawa region. And finally it is happening:

I thought maybe the reason they waited so long to act, was that they were so convinced about the lethality of Covid, and the effectiveness of the vaccine and mandates, that the entire strategy was to wait until all the truckers died of Covid, and then just collect the bodies and say, see I told you so. Apparently they ran out of patience.
