An actual commodity topic ... WHEAT

Personally I’m getting tired of the same ol thing on here, and I don’t care if some of you don’t like what I just said. Man alive we are now season 2 of the EA.

Anyway I want to talk wheat. It seems the only way the market will increase will be if Russia invaded Ukraine. I don’t want to see innocent civilians get killed and us benefit. Some of you “may” say that’s the world operates. I can see if there’s a drought somewhere prices rise because of that.
But to see people die and markets go higher because of it doesn’t sit well with me.

I want legit reasons to see markets react positively.

Wow are we ever getting the shaft. $12.75 I’m selling some. We were $11.80 yesterday.
            It can’t get to $12.

              On the evening farm RFD TV news... they showed the 10 year grain projection;

              $10 Soy
              $4 Corn
              $5.75 Wheat.

Can the government make that happen????

Yesterday RFD TV held an hour long report about how we farmers need to defend against the Climate Change scientists... who say Agriculture is responsible for Climate Change.

THEN in the evening, just after BBC said the Freedom Convoy had cost Canada $800B...An add on another channel by an eco-environmental group... said 'Climate Change' now makes droughts 150 times more likely... send them money!

Hard not to lock some in at that price. Been waiting and holding back as it seems the minute you forward contract you automatically get knocked down a grade and falling numbers come into play. Does it really matter though if the markets tank being so volatile in the worlds current situations. I think I will call the elevator now.

All I can say is "Thank goodness there is finally an agricultural related topic on this site". I was about to pull the plug because of the BS & continual sniping. Have a good day folks!

MGEX HRS is being pinched between the 50 and the 200 DMA.

Sellers have been stepping in at the yellow VWAP from the swing high and the green 50 DMA.

The price is finding support above the previous supply which is bullish

This is a no-trade zone for me.

I need the price to get above 1000 with a rising 50 DMA before I get bullish.

Or a break below the purple 200 DMA to get bearish.

Seed shortages and extreme fertilizer prices will prevent snow canola snow rotations . Also the limit on credit and herbicide will cap canola acres as well as still very dry conditions still in a huge area of western Canada

What are the latest updates on Canola seed? I booked three separate places last fall. 2 keep reassuring me supply is fine. The third can't quite guarantee, as they have already drastically cut back allocations on most other varieties.

Do we have a handle on how many canola acres are even potentially possible this year based on seed supplies?
