Who is going to pay for all the costs of these protests? All the funds raised, seized. Maybe those that gave funds will be sued.

Just Got an interesting letter from Premier Kenny;
Thomas -
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is wrong to enact the federal Emergencies Act, and I told him so yesterday.
The Globe and Mail is reporting that “During a meeting with Mr. Trudeau and the First Ministers on Feb. 14, some premiers pushed back against triggering the Emergencies Act. Alberta Premier Jason Kenney…strongly objected.â€
Mr. Trudeau needs to stop dividing Canadians.
Law and order must be respected, and blockades that are hurting our economy need to end, but using this unprecedented power to restrict civil liberties will just escalate an already tense situation, making a bad situation worse.
The federal Emergencies Act is designed for situations like war and violent insurrection, and only when provincial governments can’t cope with a crisis. But in the last few days the blockades at the Ambassador Bridge and at Coutts have ended peacefully, without federal involvement.
Let’s be honest: Justin Trudeau created this crisis.
He imposed a vaccine mandate on truckers which will have no public health benefit, but is impacting supply chains and forcing up food prices.
Instead of calming things down, Mr. Trudeau added fuel to the fire by demeaning the protesters, fanning the flames, and dividing Canadians at the worst possible time. It's a failure of leadership on his part.
Instead of throwing gas on the fire, Mr. Trudeau should pick up the phone and call President Biden to end the cross-border trucker vaccine mandate that serves no useful public health purpose.
If you stand with me in opposition to Justin Trudeau's dangerous overreach, please add your name here.
Together we will get through this time of trial and emerge stronger than ever.
Sincerely,
Hon. Jason Kenneyâ€
God Bless Alberta
God have mercy on Canada, and give us grace to be forgiving and Loving… God Bless Quebec

I am surprised he hasn't promised a referendum on separation yet. It's not like he is busy doing anything else now that covid is over in his province.

If the peaceful protesters asked permission for parking on the native grounds around parliament hill and they said OK . Does Trudeau even have jurisdiction?
How can at every press conference politicians say what grounds they are standing on like it has some meaning until it doesn't?

bucket;
I saw a report last night showing they moved to the new spot that letter from the city of Ottawa designated they park... therefore the guys who moved over there are now legally protesting... and are happy with their new parking spot they said.
Cheers
