The occupation of Ottawa has created a cult of delusional individuals completely divorced from reality. How this happened will be studied for years. It should never been allowed to go this far. The families of these cult members will suffer for years. Those that supported them through donations and actions bear some responsibility for the damage they have done.

I agree there is some hardcore devotion in the midst of being arrested or much worse. Kinda like the devotion of NDP’s with views which the majority doesn’t hold neither. Those in glass houses.

Perhaps you should clarify where you are seeing the hardcore devotion to the point of arrest - are you backhandedly referring to a Fascist dictator who is ordering the police to arrest their own people without cause? That hardcore devotion?

Or maybe you're talking about a dictator who has seen fit to cancel the democratic process in order to put down a Nation-wide protest that has organically risen in response to his unsupportable oppression?

That takes some hardcore devotion to cancel centuries of Parliamentary process in order to strengthen his grip on power.

I'm sure you will renounce the hardcore devotion leading to the recent actions of a Fascist dictator in Canada, won't you?

You are right. All it would have taken was for a real leader to number 1, not spew hate speech and name-calling. 2. Stand up like a man and negotiate an end.

No, he stood up and took pot shots at every citizen in this country, boasted his mite and sneered in contentment. You know what, the people of this country would have admired him, instead just read the comments in Global today, you will see what normal people are thinking. if you have any deductive reason, you will get it. The country may be done and succession may be the end result. Maybe that’s what Trudeau wants, then he can have his little kingdom, without any ownership or human rights. Even China is looking at his actions with disdain. Now who is trampling on human rights?

It's too bad the truckers, for the most part, were hijacked.

Some of the original organizers hijacked the covid mandate issue.

Every trucker that needs a job can get one really fast almost anywhere in Canada.

And the majority are vaccinated and can cross the border anyway.

There are legitimate concerns to be expressed in peacefull protests about covid measures, but some of the organizers and protestors had another agenda all together.

This convoy in protest in Ottawa had a shelf life. Was it overstayed? Maybe maybe not. We’re Covid measures over stayed? Definitely. I wasn’t really in favour to start with. Thought the grounds were weak and their message not too clear. However, what was clear how Trudeau and msm downplayed and vilified these protesters. Some who I know, and wouldn’t consider bad people. Granted there were idiots and extremists there they kept peaceful. The vitriol and bs spewed from the Trudeau govt and media when you seen both sides of the issue on social media just made you want to support the protest. It’s one of those issues where the actors on both sides play games but you know that will happen. You are judged by how you react and Trudeau should be judged harshly.
