Sent in after the mailin deadline. Look it up. If people are too stupid to realize it is past the mail in deadline and they should vote in person instead it is not the governments fault. Another example of a whiny, I am a victim excuse.

Agree with you DML on the violence scale the Ottawa protest barely registered on both sides. Not one cop car even got burnt.
      No weapons caches announced.

Do you think the potential long term damage to our economy by enacting the EMA and saying they are going to be seizing bank accounts for weeks to come was worth the ability to force tow truck driver compliance

You do understand the effects of a brain drain?

Keep telling yourself that dml. You know the stats. You know the rhetoric that was used.

US counted mail ballots for a week.

Brain drain is overstated hyperbole! How many people swore they would leave US when Trump was elected? How many people swore they would leave US when Trump lost and Biden was elected? How many on here repeated said they would leave if Trudeau was relected? How many repeated say that Canada is done for and time to leave? If anyone actually believed what they are saying they would have packed up and left if not for their own sake, for their families. And I guarantee there are still thousands times more highly educated people wanting to immigrate to Canada from countries that truly are repressed, violent, and with living standards a fraction what they are here.

The real damage done to this country has been loss of faith by the business community that Canada can deliver due to blockades. It wont be people leaving it will be companies looking at alternative suppliers.
And that cost is so much more than tow trucks.

What was the cost of cancelling Keystone? Or are you going to try to sell us that same chestnut that the world didnt need the oil.

Trudeau cancelled at least $250B in projects with a stroke of a pen. At least another $100B in investment capital fled before covid.

Make an argument, but dont be a hypocrite.

Your right. The brain drain happens when the a opportunity is better elsewhere because of government policy or poor economy.

Lived with it in Saskatcewan for generations while we collected equalization.
We thought we lived in a poor province but we just had poor government.

You ask more than he can give.

Growing up in a hyper-religious environment was a highly educational experience in seeing the unwavering commitment that a hypocrite maintains to the cause.

dml is just another example in another religion - covidianism and climatism.

he is every bit as skilled as those from my past, and just as unconvincing.

The worst harm they do is to their own cause, their dis-credible arguments usually being further destroyed by their conduct. There are very worthy and defensible aspects of religion, just as there are in recognizing the immeasurable benefit of properly directed efforts in environmental protection.

But those who claim to be the definitive voice of reason in any field are usually the most deserving of one's full suspicion as something other than them profess.

IMHO and experience. Observation is the well-regarded building block of empiricism..

Trudeau did not cancel Keystone. TC Energy pulled the plug after Biden refused permits.
The rest of your post is as much garbage as your claim that Covid would end after US elections.

So you have to ask yourself - who was then, and who is now, benefiting from poor policy or government?

There are steps to leaving a country. First the capital goes, then the currency goes, then the ties go.

There is also lots of inter provincial migration as a first step. You will see lots of people move to AB now with the hopes that they separate. A lot of Quebec anglos are leaving too. Maritimers that had previous links to AB. BCers finished with that commie province.

The re-alignment is happening. There is no going back to what was.

You’re obviously not from Saskatchewan or were asleep from 1991 to 2007. Brain drain is a real thing. Sure there are people clamouring to get in here too and our country still is better than others but when conditions get poor here our highly skilled people find work elsewhere. It is the beauty of having a skill set in demand which enables you to work abroad and perhaps never come back.

                          Speaking of religion.
Was there ever any arrests made from the Church Burnings?
Kinda got swept under the radar..
