    No.
No bodies were ever found either. Was a total scam but we got a new national holiday out of it.

We are living off Grant Devines and Ross Thatchers vision. Suffered also from Devines spending, give you that, but suffered every time with nothing tangible to show when NDP were in power. You won’t convince me seen ndp bs with my own eyes.

Remember that town in BC that burned down from a rail spark about the same time. Did CN get sued for that? Or was it just a convenient cover story.

I suspect those countries you were in that ruled with a gun had also experienced a brain drain that happened when they went over from colonial government to a long series of "elected" dictators?
Not poor countries but very poor government.

Happening in South Africa right now is you look past the PC bullshit.

Some are coming here as we appeared more stable.

We thought we lived in a poor province but we just had poor government.
So why didn't you leave Saskatchewan? Your argument about a brain drain holds no water at all if you yourself did not leave when so repressed. What work did you personally do to change the government for those generations, or did you just complain like posters are doing about current government?

Look at the loonie for a minute. Commodities boom all around, oil touching $100 and currency still faltering against USD.

Last time this happened the loon was $1.10 USD.

Somethings wrong. Debt, over regulation, loss of confidence, capital outflows are dragging it.

Sure there are people clamouring to get in here too and our country still is better than others but when conditions get poor here our highly skilled people find work elsewhere. It is the beauty of having a skill set in demand which enables you to work abroad and perhaps never come back.
As people should be able to do in a democracy. They have the right to move to a different city or state or province when opportunities arise. Or even a different country. No one is locking you in here. And for everyone that leaves there are thousands hoping to get in.

People left because there was no work because of the perception in the business community that the ndp didn’t want any business here. Maybe some of that sentiment wasn’t warranted but past experiences left a bad taste in many generations mouth. I will debate this to my dying day. The NDP and CWB did nothing but hold Saskatchewan back for generations and it will take generations to recover from that bullshit.

Candace Bergen may have saved Canada last night.

After the vote, the Lib speaker stood to motion to shut down the HoC seconds after the vote was confirmed. That would have shut the house for almost 2 weeks.

Bergen beat him to the punch and put a motion for a revote in 5 days I believe. All the LPC were going on a week break, now they have to come back and vote again Monday. Hopefully Singh has a sober second thought somewhere before then.

The secured lockdown area in Ottawa is 2 times bigger than the protest area. Most of the area around Queens Park is still closed off in Toronto as well. Enjoy your communism trial citizens of Ottawa and Toronto. You earned it. Personally bouncy castles seem a better choice but hey, you do you.

Singh won’t change. His career is on it’s lasts. He sold himself and the party out voting in step on everything liberal. He was groomed as the man to save the ndp and give it appeal to new voters but has torpedoed it instead. Green Party is in the same way as well. See on the TikTok people in Burnaby with signs all over calling Singh a sellout.
