chuck, you have zero clue about anything.

Putin has a $1T USD cash nest egg to ride this out. If the sanctions get anything close to painful, he cuts the gas to EU. Who will fold first?

Where is all that green energy? LOL Someone who believes in unicorns probably shouldnt comment on geopolitics.

somewhere in the middle lies the truth
he is a crazy old dictator , but somehow i think the one in the ukraine sounds similar , just not quite as senile
its heartbreaking watching the normal people paying for this horseshit
the sad thing is that tyrant holds all the cards with NG in europe and this green movement in N.A. paved the way for him , maybe he was funding greta , etc. ?
no matter WTF any one thinks we are donating to his cause when we buy oil from him
but jesus christ guys , why in **** are we supporting him ??????? by buying oil or helping them to farm ?
and why in **** aren't we loading ship after ship of LNG ?
anyways the world got a harsh reminder of what runs the world (oil for some that don't know)
Canada has the best human rights record in the world and yet we let idiots like greta make us shoot ourselves in the foot ?
Green will come in due time ,when its feasible , as all things change and always have

So why is the market taking the hit?

Do they see very little infrastructure being destroyed and a quik end in sight? Ports intact and ready to load?
How much war premium was built in since January?

Looks like mostly a regime change with infrastructure up and running as soon as politics gets settled.

Talks have started with Russia... Maybe if the Ukrainians would have followed the Minsk Treaty this might not have happened..

          But with Putin who knows..

Someone who supports Putin and Diagolon shouldn't be commenting on anything! LOL

It was Germany who cancelled the gas pipeline permit and they should have never planned to rely on Russia in any case.

Why would anyone want to do business with a leader who threatens Europe with nuclear weapons?

Putin will face the wrath of western Europe and damage his own country beyond repair.

Russia is the shit hole country you all complain about. Run by a super corrupt sociopath.

Exactly. Every barrel we import ensures a tyrant like Putin stays in power or a little girl gets her clitoris amputated. All you sjw’s who didn’t want our oil to flow east wear the blood of that little girl or the countless Ukrainians.

Chuck was right, looks like Canada put on some hard sanctions. That will show Putin.

Honest question, does Canada drink $330M worth of vodka? Because thats how much oil we (Quebec) import.

Canada makes better vodka than that radiator flush crap. Maybe bar the doors on Evraz and Versatile.

Didn't they put sanctions on Putin in when he annexed the Crimea in 2014 and added more recently? I believe they are still on.

These must be real sanctions this time?

I can hardly wait to see the 'wrath" western Europe will put on Russia.

I fear that wrath. France will be speaking Russian fluently

Sometimes I wonder if chucks library is filled only with old CWB sanctioned coffee table books.

So Truckers can shut down global trade? Just like they shut down Canada? Huh?
What about all the marine, rail and pipeline shipping system?

Did you forget that trucks are only part of the transportation system?

Europe will certainly face challenges but their experience with Putin will help them make more rapid changes to who supplies their energy needs.
That’s what trump tried to tell everyone
