So how is it that moving towards renewable and other clean energy energy sources is not a good thing when it comes to breaking the strangle hold Russia and the Saudia Arabia and other OPEC members have?
All this bull shite about green energy as leaving countries with less options is a bonehead lie manufactured by some who are threatened by the long term transition away from fossil energy sources.
Harper said Canada would be using fossil energy sources by the year 2100. Calgary based Prime Minster Harper!
If anything the crisis we have in Europe will speedup the transition and rapidly restructure energy markets and usage.

JHC, it will take 40 yrs to displace EU energy with renewables and they dont work in northern europe anyway. Any fool knows that. Even a nuke plant greenlit today will take a decade to build.
All of the US LNG exports right now wouldnt even make up Nordstream.
EU is hooped, they better back down and start a talking.

Alberta is installing lots of solar and wind. Saskatchewan lots of wind. How do you explain that happening in two provinces who produce a lot of Canada's oil and gas and are led by conservative premiers?
Get you heads out your assess. The transition to a low carbon cleaner energy future is a long and winding work in progress. But its happening whether you like it or not.

Putin begs to differ. He just killed your fairy tale. Real world tends to do that.
Whatever the west doesnt buy from him will go to china now.
And that means the west will have to drill and export especially to europe.

But as long as the green lefties can virtue signal I guess they have no concern.
What if China were to invade Taiwan? Would you call for all imports of Chinese "Green" energy to be stopped then?
China has a large stranglehold on renewables, but you completely ignore any of China's horrible mistreatment of people in their own country or others.

Russia has china and india in its back yard, you think they give a flying fck about europe.
And we have a US president who is out with an ambien by 4 pm and a PM who doesnt know which bathroom to use.
Because we diddled around with stupid shit and fake climate garbage, he is going to hold EU market hostage and take India and China away too.
Like seriously Putin must be laughing all the way to the bank.
