Well obviously considering that Chuck is now posting nothing but ag commodity related topics, he was referring to the van Trump report.
But now I am trying to figure out who my hero is. I didn't even know I had one until now.
Perhaps Nicole can be my hero. If she manages to organize the children on this website while raising a child of her own at home, that sounds heroic enough to earn the title in my books.

In the west I'm not aware of an official hunting season like the deer season I was familiar with in Manitoba. Some people do eat them out in the country but you do see some cuts in the city stores. There are some pet food businesses that buy kangaroo meat from contractors that get paid to cull the numbers. In that photo from last week I was helping a friend do some soil testing in a pasture to be renovated. The white stripe across the eucalyptus trees in the back is netting over a small vineyard. The kangaroo is truly an amazing animal. It can jump 9-10 ft high although a 6 or 8 ft fence would keep most out. In full stride they can reach 30 ft easy between hops. The females are always pregnant. They can have a joey at foot. Also a younger one in the pouch. And then an embryo which they can actually put on "hold" if good grazing is scarce like in a drought.

4 types of Roos in Australia we have western grays medium size. Reds are the big ones that fight a bit more. Only ever seen one here. Then of course wallaby’s not sure how many types a few I guess.

We rarely shoot them.

A freind maybe 350 kms north of me during drought shot from memory about 200 in a week got pro in they were hung up for pet good. All back again a week later
