Friday Crop Report on a Thursday!

One big heavy snow storm is on its way for our area ip to 25 cm of snow.

We’ll see but if it follows the same path as all winter we are in for another dump.

We’ll have a run off and ground is full
From last falls rains. You still need 4 inches over the summer so it’s a start.

Grain is Up this morning you can see every company has moved to the may. I did take our farm to 60% sold on canola and moved HRS to same. Barley is gone and peas are gone. This last week was a good time never got $26 but it was so close .10 to .15 cents from. If you grew a crop in 2021 y to our getting 1000 to 1400 on canola. Wheat is in the 600 an acre range it’s making money time.

To help with income tax the price of ammonia and Fert and chemical diesel will take a huge amount. Some areas with poor crop will be behind real far. We lived the flood years and lost millions drought years we make most times. You have yo hope it balances out.

Russia is pushing onward. I’m surprised they didn’t take Ukraine in a day. Or are they not that strong or coordinated. Who to believe in this war is tough. I wouldn’t trust either country. What is nice to see is Ukrainian PM is staying and fighting I would bet the farm our ***** would be gone leaving us all to fight with rocks and 22 and BB guns. He isn’t a leader and would sell us out. Probably has already he’s that sickening.

Why the huge convoy honk honk what is Russia doing?

But this war did take grain to the next level.

Did my part shot a 79 and helped my fellow Canadians to beat team USA down in Florida to get the golf title back. It’s a yearly thing we do down here and now is named after my friend Kelly who died last fall 6 months into his retirement.

Oil isn’t dead as WT hit 110 and Canadian is up. I’m in the money. It’s stupid the new green deal because you slowly get to that not kill one industry before the other is ready to go. It was just stupid.

Sask will be in the cash big time potash is insane and now oil at these levels.

Ottawa will be taking from us to give to the poor Quebec and Ontario. Stupid leadership in canada got us to here. Putin has oil and gas and Europe fell for the green deal with out figuring out oil is still needed. For years to come.

Americans are pissed at oil and gas prices and Biden will pay dearly this fall he is changing his tune down here trying to fool them with taking oil out of reserves. That’s sounds good but it’s three days worth. Drops 7 cents goes up 14. I’m still paying $3.45 to 3.89.

Why couldn’t canada and usa be self Sufficient. Follow the money to our two leaders. Pipeline down and east and west would of made billions for Canadians. Imported oil makes skippy and Biden money.

Diesel will be doubled In price.

Cons are having their leadership contest on Sept 10 so we will have Skippy for another summer. The NDP will back him till they are so broke they will be done.

Interest rates are going up wow surprise surprise surprise. Read history it’s important. It’s happening again this year is like 1979.

I think I’ll buy land in two years. Still looking for 1000 acres for spring but don’t think will find much maybe 300 acres.

CP strike coming this could **** up fertilizer deliveries for March? Yea more shot show.

Hey I’m still watching China because they want Trudeau sorry Taiwan. Russian wants northern canada they would take in 5 min.

Construction equipment replacements are home I did keep two older cats.

Have a safe week and take care. 60 days till we seed.

MLB is canceled for now no spring training. Will the season be lost?

Just got a update on snow map and the driest areas of Sask had big snow not says?

So snow you need a ft and slow melt to give a inch.

Just saying the drought ain’t over.

Politicians hear about potential CP strike and the current fertilizer issues and do what????

They talk about the reduction of fertilizer by the liberal green plan.

FFS wake up conservatives. Price , soil moisture , crop rotation , soil moisture !!! is what determines fertilizer use.

Ignoring the fact there is still a drought and the price of fertilizer is beyond stupid, makes you all look stupid.

Now throw in a CP strike and they will still be arguing about how to form a committee for the use of the emergency act.

BTW the Russian/Ukraine family spat has pretty much solved the covid problem.

He is a small one maybe 6 ft.

I am going to go to Texas and head north home I want to see how dry it actually is in Texas and how bad the wheat is. I’m hearing awful. That’s late March.

Got to clean grain in April.
