For those scared to price fall grain after last years buy back disaster and dry soils right now, could you take the unsold portion of grain in your bins right now and sell that amount for fall?
The grain in the bins would cover the fall sales and hopefully once spring and summer rains come the old crop could be sold over the summer once the crop in the fields look good enough.
Summer crop sales should remain strong as supply will be tight till new crop is harvested. Fears of new crop prices dropping would be somewhat covered by the new crop sales.
Obviously this would only work for those with unpriced grain, of which some posters have indicated they have some.
