Time to do some critical thinking. Why won't they do anything besides a fake scripted media response? Because China and Russia made a deal to supply trade and goods, further more India has done the same signing on. There are 2 billion customers for Russia. World elite dynamics are changing. The west probably just wrote an end to global backed usd currency with there sanction war with Russia.

I have a reservation with the India China Russia love in. Still a lot of issues between China and india. India and Russia trade a lot.

Think USA has kept out of Ukraine war largely in part for fear of becoming too involved on one front and not being ready for invasion of Taiwan. FJB is a senile old loon so I think the pentagon is probably in charge standing back and letting the Ukrainians hold the line until they see what China does. Russia could possibly be chinas gas tank but long term if Russia is weakened and hated then China faces little opposition moving into eastern Siberia, and the Asiatic people who live there probably wouldn’t oppose it too much. China will give Russia enough rope to hang themselves

You and Hemlock are both right ... Russia setting up to supply 1/2 the world’s population with energy and grains outside the US Dollar .
Here in North America the dithering woke climate change puppets ready to destroy the middle class for the change of oil dollar supply to green energy to save a few penguins they think .

A lot of the gains in Russian oil production came from the help of western oil companies like Esso shell and Canadian know how. With the likes of these majors pulling the pin there and Russia nationalizing production there will be a gradual decline in production. Talk to anyone who has been over there will open your eyes to the challenges they face extracting oil. Their cost of production on cold wells is comparable if not more in some cases compared to Western Canada. Some cases transpiration distances to market is insane. To go to China would be worse. Same as any grains overland to China is no easy feat. Shipping grain to the coast here is nothing compared to that.

Pipelines and oil by rail to China don’t happen fast… so China is a year or two away from a major shift in consuming Russian oil and gas… most likely.

An all out economic war… is going to be disruptive to everyone… China got away with the Pandemic Scott free… will be interesting to see if the Chinese pull a fast one on Russia too…
