Had wolves eating yearlings one time.
They didn't leave anything for the flies.
Licked the grass clean with no bones within a couple of days.

It’s a video , I don’t follow Twitter , someone just shared that this morning. Probably 4ft on the level with a 6-7 ft berm pushed by a dozer ?
Much the same in CaseIH area and 30 miles north of here

Thats not pushed with a dozer, has to be snow blown.

Definite heavy line along hi way 3 , 40-50 inches there and north . None of that has melted much all winter
But that’s not overly out of the ordinary.

Why would you be on a trail in the first place with that much beautiful snow to play in?

The 3 different packs around us are constantly seen running the farm land. The pricks killed our dog a few years back.

It’s is always hard to tell how much snow because of all the wind. Put on the snowshoes and trudged out to a spot in the bush that the wind doesn’t affect and this is what I find. This is in NE Sask close to where CaseIh lives.

Wolves are very easy to call in with simple howls if they are within earshot, they will run right up to you, territorial response.
Also snare on a fresh kill will give very good success.

We don't have dumb wolves around here, near impossible to get eyes on them within 1000 yds without pure luck. Snared a few on their pathways, baits don't work, traps absolutely don't work and and we have yet to call them into view when we know they are only few hundred yards in the bush away.

The pack a little further north isn't quite as bright but I'm less concerned about them.

Dr. They are smart like u say. Very interesting what u see on a trail cam. Snow is so deep here even the moose wanna stay on skidoo trails. Seen about 30 deer eating out of the neighbors silage pile so u know it’s hard on them when they looking for easy food

I'm not sure how exercise causes health trouble, you must mean your back or something.

I haven't got stuck in 3' powder all year. Upgrade the 440 polaris. :-)

Once the groomed snowmobile trail goes in these wolves quit coming around and stay in a different part of their area we don't get them on camera. During the spring we have cameras near their dens and constantly have them on camera, including the pups.
