Yesterday CBC headlined a report that many countries are not meeting or even participating in making ghg reductions and the whole program is off the rails.
With no mention of the worst offenders or non participants they went with a detailed analysis of how Canada should double down and basicly kill our western economy to make an insignificant contribution to goals that can never be achieved with the major players expanding coal based economies.

Kenny has lots of shortcomings, he is a believer in Canada has to be his worst one.

But he knows what Alberta is and didnt try to hamstring it an the first windfall he gets he promptly balances the budget. So I cant fault him for that.

Trudeau on the other hand is PM of the country with the greatest natural resource assets on the planet and staring at a commodities super cycle, and what do we get? Another $100B in debt budget.

Warren Buffet will be smiling ear to ear as trainloads of oil will make him a fortune. Oil by rail has increased dramatically here as the steam plants are cranking out oil at record levels . The new rail loading spot north of North Battleford is getting very busy .

The Bay du Nord project consists of several oil discoveries in the Flemish pass basin, some 500 kilometres northeast of St. John’s in Newfoundland and Labrador, according to Norway's Equinor, which operates the project.

The company says Bay du Nord will be worth about $3.5 billion to the Newfoundland and Labrador government, with oil production beginning in the latter part of the decade.

Bay du Nord would be Canada's first deepwater project to produce oil, with wells in about 1,200 metres of water pumping around 188,000 barrels of oil a day.
