Churchill would be perfect for grain and oil just needs major investment. All down hill and just a short run compared to hauling over the mountains. Just give a train a big push at Tisdale and it would almost roll all the way on its own.
Don't think it will ever get the investment just because How many seats in parliament would this affect?

The train could be powered with cheap matinoba hydro.

A few years ago at a conference they spoke about the situation. Apparently the volume of business was so small that they hadn't updated criteria since they first offered insurance.

Looks like this idea is more that just spitballing. Looks to be a central plank in the CPC platform. PP talks some First Nations consortium involved.

Imagine its just a matter of time before Justin throws up a tanker ban there too.

Its too bad someone already stripped off 120 million supposedly fixing the Churchill line.

                AGT and Fairfax.

Sad to see fat boy cozying up to Pierre Poilievre.
