Which honestly seems incredibly cheap compared to what tractors cost and how much they have gone up comparatively.

For comparison's sake...

1994 9880 new holland 4wd with 400hp was somewhere around 140-150K at the time.
1994 W900 with a 400 cummins was in that 125-150 range depending on options.

2018 versatile 4wd 520 was bought in fall of 2019 for 380 000.00.

Now a 2022 530 versatile can be had for around 505 000. Priced a month ago.

Still a lot cheaper than a deere.

Had a deere salesman tell me jd 4wds went up 8 percent this year, so a 640hp prices around 900 grand.

Why are 550 hp 4 wheel drive tractors 350000 more than 550 hp trucks, even when u price in the extra 55000 for rubber, an extra 60000 for the transmission, and I'm guessing 15000 for each heavier diff plus 55000 for hydraulic pumps. That adds up to only 200000 more for the tractor, I must be light on some or all of these numbers.

Because some guys are tripping over themselves to buy them .
All tractors seed at 4-5 mph regardless of what you pay for them . Each to their own I guess

New big rigs are way out of my price range so have no idea of availability or prices. Anyone know what a pete like that goes for new and what kinda wait time to get one? Like all things prolly can’t get one this year.

Cousin bought a new KW w900 14 months ago loaded to the 9's, cost him $214. Custom trucker said the new pete he just ordered with according to him "modest options" cost him cost him $240. Which honestly seems incredibly cheap compared to what tractors cost and how much they have gone up comparatively. I'm am not sure on the timeline for delivery.

when checking sales, looks like Canadian trucks are not caught up to US trucks yet. the second truck has a few more options but not 75k! The cost of hauling is going up again!
