Didn't read the whole thread here and maybe has been asked but why doesn't anybody start a new auction service that does on farm live auctions anymore? Seems a lot don't like on line or Richie style so reinvent the wheel!

    Must be a reason.

    Or red paint ? FMG!
You could buy a magnum for that kind of money and have twice the tractor.

RBA shares since IPO have seemed to be a trading stock not a buy and hold.

    I’m curious ?
Does that green paint give off fumes that overtakes bidders ?

Watched a bit of the Schapansky sale in Tisdale today and thought most items sold for a decent price. Nothing crazy high and a few good deals and best part No buyers fee!
The exception a John Deere 4255 with 6000h for 93,000 but that's a sweet tractor.

This is true we miss the nostalgic beautiful day sale by a friendly good neighbour farmer heading into happy retirement. Most sales are not that. I remember one sale my Dad went to in Medicine Hat in the 90’s. Worst weather day ever, he thought the sale might even be cancelled. Bought a bunch of stuff super cheap. But think of the poor farmer, you work your whole life and then you miss out with no guarantee sale and a freak horrible storm. Money you are counting on for your retirement. The purpose of a sale is not to provide us with good deals at the expense of a retiring farmer but rather a means for a business to get rid of all their equipment at a fair price where fair is determined by an auction’s price discovery. You can hate on Ritchie and I don’t like their sales but they have improved the sale experience for the owner 10 fold, by bringing in online bidding and removing weather concerns, and adding a guarantee.

That is a 12 years old clip of the electric Cat and they haven’t made much traction.

I was Just reading through the comments. One guy mentions about a year ago that he has 4 of these in his fleet and they have had lots of downtime. He claims Issues with the electrical generator components that were difficult to fix.

Another comment with regards to price, about double the standard model.
