Do you actually need the purchase price? Once it has been depreciated to zero, isn't that the book value you have to use?

I *think* I've got most everything on farm to put things in the field for seeding, but there are always the unexpected breaks that you couldn't necessarily forsee... There are a couple parts that I got the last ones in RME's dealer stock, and they have been backordered since everyone started stocking up for their usual spring seeding run. That doesn't bode well.

Talking with a bourgault dealer friday he told me the 4.5 rounds I have sitting in the shed are probably worth double what the v packers I replaced them a couple seasons ago , he said they have 40 in stock and wont see anymore until after seeding, He has 10 mid row discs again doesn't think hell see more until post seeding, said they'd ordered 550 got 200 in the winter.

Last fall the search began again... by the end of Sept. I had a drill bought and the tractor search narrowed down to 2 tractors. I found large numbers of drills and tractors advertised, drills were cheap and the tractors were reasonably priced..

As soon as the drill was bought I ordered Bourgault V packers for my Morris(I like the design and price of Bourgault's V packers compared to the Morris) and new 3/4'' seed boots. Seed boots arrived at the dealership the beginning of march... packers still haven't shown up, So I bit the bullet and bought Morris packers.. If Bourgault is having supply issues with the V packers, I wonder how many New drills won't be delivered?

actually had the 2 tractor dealers bid their tractors down, saved an additional $18k when I signed the deal.

I'm very happy that I did my purchasing and parts ordering last fall.. I've got the junk I wanted at a very reasonable price compared to this springs prices..
