Parts are available for older tractors, pretty much every tractor I have I also have a pair and a spare of the same model.

Maybe because as of today, parts aren't available for new equipment either.

The difference being, a local machine shop can make a shaft or gear for a mechanical shift, but the local blacksmith will have trouble making the computer chip for the new equipment when it breaks down.

Once in a while they have surprisingly modern items. But yeah, they are the guys who take on auctions that aren’t worth it for other outfits.

They’re for Babba and Guido who don’t got that internet thing figured out yet. Sadly that generation is dying out and so is the auctioneer doing these small sales.
