That photo never came from south of Winnipeg during this storm if she was standing in her yard site.

Looking at pictures I’d guess we have more snow and I wasn’t in the 50-80 zone.

I’m lucky only one calf was born in the storm and it was on the barn floor, she missed the bedding but close enough. It’s still kinda storming but less than half of what it was.

My brother and sister in-laws in SE Sask who are going through calving right now would have a few choice words for you regarding the snow storm as they both stated the got a foot of snow which is equal to 25 cm the last couple of days.

Haha. You’re a funny guy. Went skidooing yesterday, and we got about two inches from the “storm of the century”. So yeah, with lambing coming up, and the inability to have a place for the ewes to walk to due to waist deep old snow, it will be an issue. Anyone calving now, I feel for, this is crazy already.

The Pravda article stated that areas around Winnipeg got from 13 to xx cm of snow. I chose the amount that was ankle deep, as I assume this is what our friend got.

The worst of this all, is the cold and shortened growing season that this looks like.

I am extremely thankful that I can look forward to the climate change, human caused of course, extending our growing seasons real soon!

Any rancher in southern Saskatchewan knows it snows in April and is happy for the moisture, we don’t need calves if the grass doesn’t grow!

It was nice checking cows at 3:30 AM without a big wind.

LOL. and now the weather has to be the same in southern Man as it is in one location of southern Sask.. I love it when people make claims about the weather.... So according to u the snowfall amounts have to be at least the same in Winnipeg as they are on your brother's farm in southern Sask..
LOL, shit the snowfall for all this winter was a foot less at the cottage than at my farmyard 12 miles away.. Your brother must not be paying his fair share of the carbon tax to have such bad weather.

How much u get Forage. U were suppose to get a bunch. We got anywhere from 3 to 6 in. More on the North and East side of Valley. Some rain but most of the snow blew in the bush and ditches. Very hard to tell it was monster storm. The media has to hype it to attract attention as usual. Most dummies hang on every word the weather network says like what they say is gospel. If the meteorologists spent more time honing their skills on the weather in the here and now instead of climate change they might be better at it.

Last year on April 13, in Regina there was a foot of snow on the deck so this is common.
