The latest dump of 60 mm will push seeding past May long.

We had about 15mm total, made up of light showers and 2-4 inches of snow.
The week before was slightly less moisture, dryer snow with more wind.
Start date, probably May 10 here, depending on the land and previous years stubble. Usually start last week of Apr or first week of May.

Hit hard in the Dauphin area. I am not sure how many inches we had but it sure was heavy. On my way home today I seen some Hydro lines laying on the ground and some poles busted down. I was sure glad to see my canvas sheds still standing when I got home. I don’t think one would still be standing if it was in a sheltered area. A neighbour of mine that works for Hydro said we will not get our Hydro back in our farm area until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. Some might not get until Tuesday or Wednesday. Temperature dropping to -10 to -12 tonight. I am glad that I listened to my intuition and installed a wood stove last fall.
Feel sorry for some people with animals and recharged my respect for the hydro line workers
