    Storm

Is anyone getting hammered with moisture with the latest storm forecast? We just have some wind.

It’s skirting east of us. Just got a bit a light drizzle this am.

    Hope we miss it all.

Don't need ONE snow flake or rain drop for a month. Taken yesterday. +3 max temp so far.

Steady rain here today puddles in the fields and ditches starting to run. Snow from last weekend starting to melt off deck. No more bale shredder in feed pens but too much snow on fence line to let grassers out. Nephew called went down to pull calf from heifer ( backwards ) guess my arms longer than his , he couldn't get the feet up and he looked tired. Always fun times on the farm oh and shoe goo fixed my rubber boots no more wet feet

First day a little water running here.
Still some 100% white but across the road might be 50% gone.
IMHO if we had a few days of normal temps this will dry up like a summer storm.
Just a few big snowbanks to seed around on the earliest fields by next weekend.
Spring always comes. A little different every year.
The forecast says it's March but the calender says sunshine will make for a spring day.

If it skipped over all you guys and dropped a wad on SE alberta I'd be grinning from ear to ear... Cold, dry and windy is hard to get excited about.

The latest dump of 60 mm will push seeding past May long.

We had about 15mm total, made up of light showers and 2-4 inches of snow.
The week before was slightly less moisture, dryer snow with more wind.
Start date, probably May 10 here, depending on the land and previous years stubble. Usually start last week of Apr or first week of May.

Hit hard in the Dauphin area. I am not sure how many inches we had but it sure was heavy. On my way home today I seen some Hydro lines laying on the ground and some poles busted down. I was sure glad to see my canvas sheds still standing when I got home. I don’t think one would still be standing if it was in a sheltered area. A neighbour of mine that works for Hydro said we will not get our Hydro back in our farm area until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. Some might not get until Tuesday or Wednesday. Temperature dropping to -10 to -12 tonight. I am glad that I listened to my intuition and installed a wood stove last fall.
Feel sorry for some people with animals and recharged my respect for the hydro line workers
