My drill is stuck under the snow still just like yours FJ. Couple weeks back scooped up some dirt from a shed floor and sprinkled it on the snow hoping it would attract a bit more heat from the sun. It is helping but still has a long ways to go. Don't remember such big snow banks this late into spring.

Even here , and we had way less snow than you guys , still can’t get the harrow bar and the ole JD planter out out of the banks. Maybe by weekend

I’m aghast at those pictures. Reminds of here 5 years ago. Never got seeding till may 25. Some of the best canola crops we had.

Planning too cover the drills with MUDDY water...When there is WATER near them, and a touch more than COLD WINDY +5.

Darker is massive difference. All the fields along E-W grids have lost snow on S sides. N side hardly none. It was dusty with N winds but humid/wet/snowing with S winds, all winter.

agreed , you guys sure got hit hard .we pulled off half a crop because we had some subsoil moisture. not so this year

Farmzone has 20 degrees temps a week from now.
Big snow mostly gone but very little mud.
If it gets warm and windy it will be dusty in 2 weeks.

Seeding is underway in my area. I got going yesterday on my triticale , finding nice wet dirt , for how long not sure . Bigger farmers in the area are rolling now also . Finally getting some warmer temps , and I hope I'm not jinxing myself for saying that .

Branding our calves today , then that job is DONE and cows can get the hell out of here!
