Many other areas south and south west are much drier , we are still in decent moisture but it’s drying fast and we have about a week left to get seed in moisture. Some hilltops are dried out and lumpy but not whole fields yet like south of here

1.4" rain here today. An absolutely beautiful sight. The ground was drying fast before this with minimal standing water in fields. It's a good start for our pastures and hay land for sure.

Another 6 tenths in the swamp
        Currently snowing
I will bet the area average seeded is under 1%

Wet down thru the corn belt.
Below normal forcast to the end of May here.
The leaves will be out with no crop seeded.

Might be a turnaround in the fertilizer shortage.

Trend for the next two weeks still cool and wet for most areas already too wet . Not a good situation

My midnight check it was zero. And snowing heavily. Yard pure white this morning. Forecast is bad. No one has so much as picked a rock or even thought about harrowing here yet. And won’t for the foreseeable future.

1.8 inches in the hood here of south central. Some area guys wrapped up on Thursday. We’re at 80 % complete seeding durum. In crop spraying on emerged peas and lentils will most likely begin next week. Some warmer temps would be nice but seeding conditions have been good Hay land loving this rain. Cattle guys need a break in this area for sure. Might keep a few around the industry a little longer. Going to be some extreme volatility in the markets with this wild weather. Very reluctant to pre price anything until it’s in the bin.

We are in serious trouble here. 4 inches of rain in the last week
                    Haven’t turned a wheel
                    Water laying everywhere
Forecast is terrible for the next ten day's
                    Snowing this morning
Eastern prairie production will be well below normal production
2010 all over again except the stakes are MUCH higher
Noth American weather in major crop producing areas is extreme this spring whether it’s drought or flooding. Combine this with existing global production issues and major global famine is a very real possibility

Thankfully no snow! Gauge has 7/10", not a windy location. Similar within 20 miles. TOO cold also.
