    Our bourgault

Had a tech tell me today they saw a number of glitches across several platforms this spring. Patches, updates, lots of issues.
The same spring my compromised email account was flooded daily with dangerous junk right after the invasion.
I'm not a conspiracy guy but we do forget how complacently reliant we are. So much that we've forgotten to be wary.

But the next two nights may be the equalizer.
          Time will tell
We also did side by side wheat with our bourgault 12 in space twin row and that seed master 15 inch
          All the same time .
The 15 inch seed master very rough but did very nice job on both .
15 in wheat too wide IMO but it was here and we tried it . It will be interesting on both
Certainly interested in your results. I think the new 15 inch space seedmaster would be the ultimate canola machine but I have a hard time with using it for cereals!

Interesting experiment we just pulled our 12”spaced openers and put on paired row for last six hundred acres of barley, doing the math if we’re right a 2 bushel increase would generate $10K more.

I really like the paired row in cereals , works well with higher seed rates to get more heads per ft Square , But they do open a bit more ground , surprisingly not more than the twin shank seed master .

A discer, just drop the front wheel in the rut and go.
cheapest seeding outfit you'll ever own. Got 30 ft of them and still use them.

But, but what happens when the tractor isn’t communicating with the discer?

You wipe the dust off and plug the hydraulic hose back into the coupler. Then rearrange the slack so it doesn't pull out next time you turn too Sharp.
Unless it's I really high-tech discer, in which case you tie a better knot in the rope to the back of the seat for the power lift.
And if it is the ultimate in high-tech discers, then you need to establish a better sign language system between the tractor driver and the operator sitting on the discer. If it's too Dusty or too dark, you might need to use cell phones between the two operators. Of course, you could eliminate any communication errors by eliminating the tractor and putting the horses back in front then the only operator is sitting on the discer,
Apparently they didn't even require GPS.

We're happy with our Dutch paired row openers in cereals, it does blacken up the soil more than the inline single point. Hoping that the cereals will stool out more with the extra space. Changing from the paired to the inline takes about a 1.5 hours but think it's worth the extra time. We’re down to our last quarter of canola for tomorrow, doing canola plots there so will take a bit of time but should be done before supper.
