Finally finished seeding the other day. Quite a marathon with temperamental iron/cows and parts issues etc.

Used the old school versatile on the harrows until my brother finished ripping the “unavailable” compound turbo off the new to us NH. Replaced a $7k turbo and $11k gearbox with three feet of exhaust flex pipe. Seems good so far but might chip it to make up the power difference possibly.

Got a half inch the other day and that was great. So nice to not have choking dust in the corrals today while working pairs. Moving them out is always fun………. Besides the perennial fence and waterer fixing.😉
The newer pastures look ok-ish and the old ones are pretty bare. Hopefully Ma Nature remembers to kick the sprinklers in every now and then out here. The cows and us would definitely appreciate it.🍀

Last seeded corn is coming up. Surprised that it came up for how dry it was when it went in.

Bluebells are out which is one of the perks of checking fence this time of the year.

And we do live in “Wild Rose Country” after all……… 😎

Holy crap guys, stop posting pics! Prices will crash for sure after this rain event early next week, just watch.

But seriously, there is nothing hardly visibly green here yet. Like a few cereal fields seeded in May I guess is about two leaf. Partners your canola is WAY ahead of here. Barley emerging. And case, that wheat! Holy flipping cow.

It’ll be green in a week or so. Pasture and hay does look very very good. Except the alfalfa froze, but it’ll bounce back. Already getting green again.

I wish sharing pics was as easy for me, as some on here make it out to be!

Whereabouts you at? Generally if you don’t mind sharing.
