Make of Break weather system on way.

So the system that's starting today I would class as a make or break but they are now pushing the rain further north and wrapping around effect.

This will give the odd dry area it seems some rain, some will miss out and the wet areas in NE could see really wet wet conditions that will finally end all seeding.

It's early its started to fire up but will it be like yesterday's get a shower build and hit and then 15 miles away it disappears.

Were not needing rain but I always like a shower after seeding sort of the same in life. THat first nice shower after seeding sure is great.

What's happening in your area and totals.

So far Balcarres or Regina to Melville nothing really just up to half in yesterday and down to lest than 1/2 a tenth.

    Showers.

Seeding pretty much a wrap here, guys did exceptionally well to get it in rapidly! Conditions just got decent the last few days. Conditions are very good. Piles of subsoil if it did dry up. Been a couple decent weeks without too much rain. Forecast to get an inch or two. An inch is a bit overkill, two inches would be runoff again. Had a couple tenths on Saturday and the water started to trickle again out of full ponds in the bush etc.

All in all, this area has seen a vast improvement from a couple weeks ago. If it had rained just one more time, this would be a different report.

Barring hail, frost, disease, or an impossible wet harvest, this area is going to produce bushels. I’m even looking at the hay and thinking it may be a two cut year finally. With good pasture moisture, it makes planning sheep moves so easy.

Now, to just get rid of these mosquitoes. Whoa they’re bad the last week or so.

We are close to ground zero for the rainfall warning. Up to 6 inches. Which is about 5.5 inches more than we need right now.

It was supposed to shower all of yesterday and start to rain last night, but hardly anything yet, and radar looks dry, so that is a good start.
I got brave after last year and seeded low areas that have never been farmed, and I see the same thing all over the area, looks like that was a waste.

Oh man, they are bad. And for some reason I’m reacting more than usual, my skin is bumpy and itchy. Normally no reaction at al. I’m like a little kid.

Maybe they’re Gates’s secret vax mosquitos?

half an inch this morning at our place. My hay and crop is liking it !
Attached is a great example of how I would like to abuse Trudeaus carbon tax. Even though I am a Ford guy , a 62 bubble top Impala and a 409 , 4 speed would be killer!

Have a good day all !!

It would cost you about $1200 to drive to Ottawa to have tequila shots with the PM while discussing the carbon tax, that is assuming u got 12mpg.
I'm sure things would go well in the capital, I don't know what it would cost for the return trip as
i can't predict that far into the future.

1/2 inch this afternoon started about 2.
A Lifesaver. Actual puddles. Hopefully the original canola can out muscle the new stuff that comes now .
Hills in wheat fields may be the late crop. Better have the swather tuned up.

                            Finally!!!!

Was skeptical of the forecast but it pulled through. 1 mm all year till now. If it rains wednesday, will only need one more rain to finish this one off. We won’t have a bumper, but the more it rains, the closer I get to average. I’ll take that this year!

.1” on my last pass on my last field of wheat that’s ready, guess I should of started at 5am instead of 6am or picked the pace up, the rain kind of snuck up on me.
