High temps of 32 forecast here for Saturday. With all that moisture west of us I expect some big boomers.

3 inches in 3 hours. Sloughs that we worked on are all flooded, some washing of water runs. Hallelujah, we’re happy, happy, happy. Unfortunately, once again there are farms that got next to no rain. It was a large system but really dumped on the eastern edge. Hopefully those dry areas get some rain today and tomorrow.

        32mm here so far.

        Very thankful, prayers answered…

Looks like reasonable rain coverage here in central Alberta

        Blessings and Cheers

1/2 a 1/10th. Basically pissing in the wind.

To those that finally got rain good on you.

I just like rain after finished seeding to help with any **** up.

          Enjoy playing in puddles.

Close to 2” here. Perfect amount at perfect time. Now to get some in crop spraying done. Didn’t do burn off on wheat as nothing there when it was seeded but rest got a shot. Usually regret skipping a burn off but outside of one perennially dirty field it isn’t too bad. One operation has never did burn offs and their in crop herbicide costs them big time as well as giving up yields. Went to Edmonton yesterday. Further west you go from lloydminster you can tell they haven’t been getting the rains we had. Ditches are short and pastures the same. Was down to Sylvan lake last week and took 619 for its entirety and definitely more green pockets than along hwy 16. Kinda the reverse of usual.

Not much rain here thankfully. I’ll check the gage in a bit. Maybe half inch? A good top up for hay and pasture, but the grain land sure doesn’t need moisture.

Wow. If Jones was still in business the salvage yard would be under water. When I was a young buck I’d get sent down there to get parts for the massey combines versatile swather and case tractors. Oh the nostalgia. Think I got sent there because you had to help ripping the parts off and seldom went away without getting covered in oil or dirt.
