      Nothing like fencing, pumping water, and moving cows in the rain. Happy and not complaining for a second. Had to prime a gravity water system. At least no worries about getting soaked from the pump as I’m already drenched.

      Sitting at 1.25 inches since last night and still lightly coming down. This is the biggest rainfall in 2 years for us.


      It’s not on a beach like we normally see SF’s toes but I was enjoying the beer clouds last night. Hopefully everyone gets what they need. The cows and I are sure happy 🍀

        I realize most in Alberta and Western Saskatchewan considered this a make or break event because they were too dry. But we're in the opposite situation here we were sitting just right to start with even seeing some small drum notes from the previous events. Now we were forecast for up to 6 in. Over 2.25" in here so far. And it looks like we won't get nearly as much as the forecast which is good, that could have been a disaster, most of this seems to be soaking in. Except in the potholes that have no outlet.

              Ended up about 8/10’s. So it wasn’t quite enough to flood at least. Some soaked in. Can hear the hay growing.
