Funny Russia Ukraine is brought into this discussion. India plays both sides in this conflict. Though they are relatively a friendly power towards the world they buy a lot of petroleum and arms from Russia and are fairly friendly with them during this conflict. Sure it’s a matter of survival for them but sentiment amongst the people there and even the ones in Canada is pro Russia. China is a major pain in their ass and Pakistan as well. West supplies Pakistan with arms so who do they have to trust and arm them? Jazz if Ukraine is the most corrupt then how much more corrupt is the kleptocracy of the Russian Federation? I hear all these things about Ukraine being so corrupt and what not but where is the evidence? Enough bullshit out there to baffle even the smartest if they don’t look at it with a clear head.

Its first world nations messing around in 3rd world ones, giving cash away that finds it way back as dark funds. Thats why we gave $1.3B in Africa and $250M to chinas infrastructure fund to built railways, and we dont build anything here. We dont give money anywhere that wont find its way back here.
Or its 3rd worlds ones with a lot of influence messing around in ours, cough china.
To my knowledge, no western power is actively inside russia messing around. And to my knowledge, russia has no influence here.
Now I layer on some more extra national bodies like the UN, WEF, IPCC, WHO, G7, NATO etc and it becomes exponential corruption. Ukraine is right in the center of that. Hell a sitting presidents family is implicated right there.Last edited by jazz; Jun 29, 2022, 10:10.

It is like he is swimming in the middle of the Atlantic… in a hurricane… with 60 foot waves… he has no idea how to get out of the eye of the storm…
Other than to tolk and chant a climate change mantra of saving humanity through decarbonization of the world economy… while drowning and dying from exposure to the storm.
Biden is no better.
What an unmitigated disaster… and Putin is stirring the water and making the storm worse for all he can.
Cheers

I guess your under the delusion that drug addicts are not homeless. How do you propose they wean the homeless off of drugs and rid them of their addictions. I would think you would have to get them coming to a location where you have chance of intervening in some sort of manner and slowly helping them.
But, by all means let's hear your suggestion since you decided to dip your toe in the water while adding nothing.

Think the biggest problem and myself included is we don’t see the world enough to get perspective. I’m not talking tourist traps but maybe living and working abroad or talking to people worldwide or their family here. We watch whatever media that suits our political and philosophical leanings and don’t get an accurate picture. Same as the discussion here about homelessness, drugs, abortion, gays etc. We all have opinions and think we know everything but experience it or talk to those at the ground level and you will know less than you did before.

ff, at least I didn’t add deception in my post.
Anyway this is my thought on the homeless, try and help the ones that are actually trying, the ones that don’t want help or that are happy doing what ever they do good for them it’s the survival of the fittest, no one has an answer to all the world’s problems but the Trudeau government isn’t helping, I honestly believe most of the world’s governments are trying their darnedest to collapse society, in their own perverted way.
The more money that gets into the Ukraine is the more deaths it will cause, money won’t fix this....
