We’ve been wet since the snow disappeared, fungicide season should be fun. We will need some of that heat to dry things up.

There’s something that looks ominous building around Assiniboia and headed this way. Fingers crossed.

It could quit raining any time now! And take the thunderstorms with it.

No, the rains haven’t ceased. Impossible to make hay. Rains every day or two. Not lots, but enough. The nice thing is there is sun in between, so it’s not pure misery. But now the humidity is hitting and it’s so sticky and uncomfortable out there.

It’s like irrigation way out here. And the crops show it. But we need a frost free september.

Inch and a half with a little bit of hail as well in about an hour early this morning. Creeks running hard again.

                  Nasty storm this morning
Another 1.5 inches to bring total for the last 2 months to over 16 inches
                  Lots of drown out crop
Will be a much below average crop due to flooding
Let’s hope the market realizes it’s not all peaches and cream out there
With high production costs we need that 14-15.00 wheat and 25.00 canola back or we will be losing money cause production will be down again
I for one am getting very tired of the Sask crop reporters employed by Sask ag running their mouths about the status of the crops. Shut your mouth and go back to you suburban house in Regina! You are nothing but a leach on the taxpayers of this province! It is none of your business or anyone else’s what the state of crops are! It means absolutely nothing until it is harvested and ready for market!

Well we are getting rain now. We were short changed all spring. And it shows.
At jackfish lake for this week beautiful crops here and ahead of ours.
It seems like Monson season up here.
Locked in some canola , but regretted it till now. Wheat lost a couple of bucks , off the high , but still tempting
                    Better do 10 -20 %.
Our little neighborhood will not have the best crops in the country this year.
At least we are on our way to a crop now.

We got about 4 tenths out of 2 thundershowers on Friday.

It's down to the luck (or bad luck) of showers by the looks of the 14 day.

Lots of wind lightning and hail this afternoon, about ten pieces of hail landed on the deck that measure two and a quarter inch’s, a golf ball is approximately a half inch smaller.

This is the thunderstorm year. One gauge has 1/10 in it and another 10 miles away has 2 inches. The two inches falls where it’s not needed at this time. 😂
