So long as it never ever needs any service you will be fine. I am surprised that RME is still around. How they managed to survive over the years is amazing.

Actually in my area, they have been awesome. It's the people that are hired after all. Would hate to do business without them.

Nice job how they pissed away all the shareholders equity over building showrooms and stores creating an 'opportunity' for vulture funds to scoop them. Maybe that was the plan.

Very much depends on the dealership I'm thinking.

Ours is superb as AFAIK. Parts staff are excellent, and willing to make deals particularly in the off season, or for large orders. Service department works like rented mules. I don't know how they manage to get everything done that they do.

That part bothers me. I remember walking into the Medicine Hat store about a month after it was built, and the parts lady asked me, "what do you think of the new building?" I simply said, "It looks like I'm going to pay more for parts than I used to..."

Local RME is still operating out of the original International dealership building that's been around since probably the 60's. The floor creaks everywhere, and the shitter door is still a 5 panel wooden door! And believe it or not, it still does the same damned job as the new concrete monoliths with workout and conference rooms!

When you walk into a farm dealership and there is 15 feet of air above your head, its all about the show and not about giving two shits about customers.

Phucking display of overpriced toys gathering dust but we can get the part in,,,,,uhhhhhhh,,,,two days if you order by 3 pm.

I would be rather upset right now had I been a former RME shareholder

See this all day long when issues arrive. Guys come out to work on equipment with the dealer charging 150 bucks an hour plus mileage and the first thing is they haven't been trained on this piece of equipment. They know nothing.

I currently have a 500k boat anchor of a drill. Will be 3rd crop for it next year and deere can't find the gremlins.

Some image it is when you know they know SFA.

Local RME dealer is excellent. Quality staff that go above and beyond. They have been gaining market share steady from the other brands.
