I have seen some crops with incredible foliage after cabbaging out but the plant looks on the short and spindly side after bolting.

Just came from West Central Sask to West AB Canola crops are strange. One right next to another one will look nice next will look like should be plowed. Wonder what is going on? Variety, seeding tool, seed date it is strange. Even everything from obvious drought to drowned out areas.

Agronomy has always been pushed to the max to farm this country. After last year, I think heat tolerance might actually be getting better in these hybrids. Seemed to make it through for our area anyway.Last edited by jazz; Jul 11, 2022, 15:06.
