Spraying fungicide today and rain is now taking grain as areas dying from excess water not big areas but it’s happening.

Things are not great everywhere. We are at 4.8 inches total since april, crops are going backwards daily. SCIC already checking fields for guys who may want to put up for feed.Grain co. will deny that there is issues but thats the reality.

Even in many decent areas now , if no more good rain very shortly, will not be even average with very low subsoil moisture
Here this crop is using a lot of water and will hit a wall fast . Many areas do not have the sub soil moisture to carry a crop very far at all

Watched on tv the guy who had his cattle hit by lightning digging with track hoes a pit to burry them bone dry dirt like sad through a hour glass. How long with 35 temps will they last? Big water usage stage.

I would say from old pictures we are now one week behind last year.

Our Farm is sitting on about 5 inches since spring , but the hot weather is cranking up down here now. Some crops look good and some are going to hurt after 2 weeks of heat/ wind.

We do have a lot better crop than last year , but personally there aren't any bin busters out there.

Nasty little storm hitting us this morning, lots of thunder and lightning. Ground sprayer won’t be moving this morning or tonight with the .8” so far, hopefully the spray plane starts on the canola today.
