              Actually I have been buying Call options because I sold so much a month ago and am buying the risk back… if a big frost/drought; or bad US drought happened … I now have minimum price contacts.

              Large price movements are a gift to us to be able to afford decent price insurance!
              Planning ahead pays big dividends!

                Just a few more storm cells traveling through here in last hour or so. 1/4 to 1/2 inch but lentils are reduced to half now and going down everyday because it rains here every 2 or 3 days. But better than dust blowing.

                    If you look close at the lentiils you will see them moving all on their own. Grasshoppers are claiming entire fields, disease and root rot working on the rest.

                      The two previous pictures were from 2 weeks ago , peas will be ready for desiccation in 2 weeks by the looks of the yellow areas starting to turn now in the fields. If the next 20mm shows up… Canola swathing by August 21…
