Explosions have rocked a key Ukrainian port just a day after Kyiv and Moscow reached a landmark deal to allow the resumption of grain exports.
Two missiles hit the city of Odesa in the early hours of Saturday morning, Ukraine's military said.
Under the terms of Friday's deal, Russia agreed not to target ports while grain shipments are in transit.
A spokesperson for the military's southern command said the strike had minimal impact.
"No significant damage was caused to the port infrastructure," Nataliia Humeniuk said. "These are quite expensive rockets, so they are being used not too often. They are said to be highly accurate, so they hit deliberately."
EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell said the attack showed Russia's "total disregard" for international law.
"Striking a target crucial for grain export a day after the signature of Istanbul agreements is particularly reprehensible," he tweeted, adding that the EU "strongly condemns" the attack.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres unequivocally condemned the attack, saying that full implementation of the grain deal made between Russia, Ukraine and Turkey was imperative.
"These products are desperately needed to address the global food crisis and ease the suffering of millions of people in need around the globe," a UN spokesperson added.
In a post to social media, the Ukrainian military's southern command centre said two Kalibr missiles had hit the port, while two more had been shot down by air defence systems.
Oleksiy Honcharenko, a local MP, wrote on Telegram that the city's port had caught fire after the strike.
"These scumbags sign contracts with one hand and direct missiles with the other," Mr Honcharenko wrote.

Wouldn’t doubt they helped anti oil groups and climate change schemes secretly to further strengthen their influence on Europe. I’m spitballing but who’s to gain the most shutting down our oil? Who has the most to gain getting us to reduce fertilizer use and crop output? Who has the most to gain causing hardship on western economies? China is a bad bugger too but they need the west to float their economy. Much as they want control and influence they need people who can afford their exports or the whole sham collapses. The Ruskies produce the exact same stuff we do in North America. If you want an empire you help to degrade the social fabric of potential threats. This is Russias last hurrah.

Putin and his war machine is out to destroy Ukrainian Agriculture. Russia does not care how it is done, mine their fields, burn their ripe fields, steal their grain, eventually blow everything in Ukraine to smithereens... Wheat in Ukraine farmers have is bringing less than 1/4 of international price, farms will be bankrupted on top of all their other misery.

I don't expect Russia to allow more than a small percent of Ukrainian grain to make it to international markets... Putin can/is winning by killing the farm economy... as well as destroying their industrial and institutional infrastructure.

Surrender or be tortured... and Russia will threaten to nuke any country who engages directly to defend Ukraine.

Putin will not stop destroying Ukraine...till someone calls his bluff...

Look at the vast foreign policy mingling of "our" state departments in the current affairs of the middle east. Look at the current USA backed Saudi carpet bombing of the poor ppl of Yemen.
