Can you explain that please? Interest is it write off either way, in or out of the corporation.

Its just an ownership gambit. Western land are the last asset out there. Look at Bill gates. They just want to own it, they could care less if it ever pays for itself. Use fake fiat to buy real things.

We should be taking note. Next time rates are in the 2% range should be loading the coffers.

Heard a winery in BC as well. Cattle ranch in bc hmmm that’s like getting the clap and trying to give it to someone. Know guys who sold out and bought ranches in different parts of bc one being the Gang even. Can’t get rid of them and wish they never did. Only thing is wait till you find another sucker.

200k is so 2019. With the North Battleford acquisition, they're at 340k for 2023 right now

I’ve come to the conclusion and seen it around my area with oil guys too that it takes a special kind of person to take on these big risks and maintain them when they come to fruition. Props to Monnettes for figuring out how to keep it going.
I admit we don't have anybody like this real close to me so I haven't had to compete against an outfit like this for land. Eventually the cost of the land has to be paid for, a crop planted and taken off. Over the last 150 years there has been large operations out there both grain and cattle in the great plains in the US and Canada. Most of them don't last for various issues. I know of lots of guys that feel threatened by those farms cause maybe they think it they are competing with them but as others said a lot of these guys are taking a hell of a risk. I guess I feel slow and steady will finish the race. I am most concerned that I may not recognize an opportunity when it presents itself. Most of the best land purchases our farm has made over the past 25 years are when people thought the worst of farming.

I honestly believe there's less stress involved for these guys farming 340,000 acres than if they were farming 3,400.
