            I would bet the government has software that can detect changes on the ground as in missing trees and water ditches. The stuff we can see on google earth is good but I’ll bet the government has better detail.

              Western Canada isnt the amazon or Indonesia where they have endless forest to knock down. Pretty much all the viable areas are cleared now.

              Probably temporary wetlands is more of a concern and we all have some of those every spring.

                regina flats maybe... but I come from the land of hills rocks and bush. plenty of clearing and cleaning up to do out here every yr by myself and all the farms around me. Bush creates excess water which leads to alkaline that expands every yr. removing the bush removes the expensive and excessive lost land and mess.
