Managed to move and vaccinate a few more bunches of pairs. Pulled the bulls as well which is later than planned but sometimes that’s the way it goes.
Moving critters this time of the year is easy after they’ve been taken some rolled barley from the feed truck as bait a few times. Literally pull in the quarter, blow the horn, and try to keep ahead of them. A few quads to run around the stragglers/lame ones and check the bush. Just wish the pastures hadn’t run out but when it’s hardly rained in three months it’s not unexpected. Saved some hayfields that are getting grazed instead of baled.
Plenty of carryover cow chow here so no complaints. Beautiful weather to play cowboy while waiting on the last field of canola to dry down after getting a dose of reglone. Hopefully can get that done this week.

Sell it on kijiji or face book, play the game that so many do.
For sale:
One round, approximately 30 inch in diameter field stone, what farmers call a “nuggetâ€. Deposited millions of years ago, by the glaciers of the last ice age, this is truly a unique, one of a kind, rare opportunity to own a treasure.
Its been in the same location SW 26-0-0 for million of years, slowly rising to the surface of the soil, aided by mother natures amazing freeze - thaw cycles where the frost slowly lifts the nugget to the surface. This “gem†needs to be removed for safety reasons as it interferes with the regenerative agriculture program.
Truly a chance to own a piece of history, a spectacular opportunity.
Weighing approximately 1,000 pounds, it comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is on a 40x48 inch pallet for easy loading and moving to its next location of prominence and preservation. Priced at $6.25 a pound or for value buyers $16.50 per Kg.
Please phone between 9 am and 10 am, we accept EFT and cash only to secure the purchase.
Yes the price increased for purchase in kg
