Outside of a couple parts of the world population is leveling off. Not many people have been having 3+ kids for a couple generations. I don’t buy the 11 billion population predictions. We’ll plateau at 9 to 9.5 and start to see a decline. The only growth any western nations will see is immigration from high growth countries like Nigeria, India. Even China we could foresee a decline in immigration from there.

Spoke to a friend that works in the head office for one of the larger grain companies.. fd barley and wht is still being sold/exported at these higher prices values. Cnl is not except for a few smaller sales. China was in buying boatloads a month or so ago and the grain company is hoping they’ll come in and buy again before their new year.

Doesn’t really make the selling process any easier, but it’s good to hear that the physical commodity is being traded and not just the paper.

We'll be legislated to use a lot of high margin ESN.

          Higher margin once mandated.
Imported product won't meet spec for Canadian markets.

Ocean freights coming down hard, wonder if glyphosate price will be cheaper or will the retailers keep the price high if no one knows of the freight drop?
Costing a fortune to spray thistles this fall. WOW!!!

Ground cooled off enough to start fall Nh3.
Ground is a little hard but that’s normal for this clay. Nice being in the tractor on these cool cloudy windy days.
Cost of diesel and fert. Is going to be substantial!

Going to start next week but too dry here to try NH3 here I think .
A few trying but there is absolutely zero moisture and ground is lumpy . I am surprised the units even getting in the ground actually
Does NH3 not need at least some moisture to bind even with a stabilizer?

My opinion would be if there is very little moisture then you would want lots of loose well sealed dirt on top of it.
                      Opposite of lumpy.
