Time for a change, bring it on been a long yr. Would be nice to see couple inches of rain.

Cracks look like there has been an earthquake.

Finish spraying thistles and call it a yr in the field.

Yeah I fail to see the downside. It’s been brutal in this region.

Last day fertilizing, wash stuff, put combine away, been one heck of a run!

What started as MAX risk May 25...near record yields....and NO frost till Oct 5th!

But it is dry in the area now.

David philips was chatting it up about how this was the warmest October or near to it on record. The last ten days here have been brutal, struggling to get above freezing.

I guess some places mean all to the warmist cult.

It can stay nice for awhile yet. Still got some fall fertilizer to get done. Then get the fields nice and smooth. Then there are drainage projects to complete and then if the snow is not to deep pile some bush.

Can be one of the nicer times of the year for working around the yard.

Not to hot, not to cold.

No big pressure but get a head start on spring.

Got treflan worked in now cleaning pens and hope to work that in before ground gets hard. Thats the only fert I will be putting on this fall that good natural cow stuff. Lots of chubby Canada's feeding on late cut greenfeed still laying on ground waiting for this week's warmer weather.

Planted the garlic yesterday. Probably got sunburnt, it was so stinking warm out. Now hopefully it rains on them, although the forecast keeps changing so I’m not holding on to hope for it.

                              Ya the Needham stream bars
Just some N with stabilizer. The rest will go one at seeding time . If it rains and the stars line up we can add more at fungicide time if need be .
If still dry , we’ll we won’t need fungicide or huge N requirements
