    Talking about the inconvenient Truth.

Google recently tried to remove aircraft emissions from climate change calculations… got called on it…
That's okay, we will just convert to electric airplanes. After all the scientists at MIT tell us it's probably possible to have a range of between 6 and 30 miles in an electric airplane.
“… the usable range of a 19-seat plane goes from about 160 miles to about 30 miles. For a larger aircraft like the 100-seat planes that Wright is building, it’s less than six miles.”  “Electric planes could take to the sky soon, maybe even before the end of the decade. But they probably won’t be […]

So aircraft responsible for 5% of green house emissions… Canada 1.5%.

No logic or rational reasoning to cut Canadian Agricultural fertilizer 30% by 2030.

Then… jet fuel is exempt from the carbon tax… for international flights…

yet flying inside Canada inter-provincial flights must pay.

This could make a future climate alarmist conference interesting.

That was my first thought on this topic. Probably a safe bet that we won't have electric airplanes mandated anytime soon, because that would put a serious crimp in the lifestyles of the Rich and virtuous.
After all, how else could they get to the climate conferences in exotic locations without flying private jets all over the globe.

And speaking of virtuous. If the moderators have any conscience, they really should move this thread over to the children's forum. So that he who cannot be mentioned can at his flat Earth comments. He must be just pulling his hair out in frustration of being unable to make an ass of himself whenever this topic comes up on the adult forum

The volatility added by the political food security issues, energy security being an obvious component of food security from a global perspective…

The cult application of climate hypocrisy/hype has created unprecedented opportunities and chaos!

                Cheers

It's obvious the education system has failed.

22.38 pounds of CO2 are produced by burning a gallon of diesel fuel.
