Holding some Bitcoin, some physical gold, cash and ammo…not sure which will have most value. Got my bases covered anyway.
If anyone wants to read something with a positive spin try “Superabundance” by economists Tupy and Pooley. The story of “Population growth, innovation and human flourishing on an infinitely bountiful planet”.

You should have invested in Tesla instead. A good far right leader can never be wrong or lose money.

With a stock price of 80 times earnings but it could be a good long term play. Musk is a visionary like Henry Ford. His work with autonomous vehicles is going to be a game changer. Have you noticed that autonomous vehicles haven’t been in the news much lately, I think big changes in commuting on the horizon.

So they closed that down to start their own pot business.

I can't even begin to count how many ways this is a loss to the economy.

And in the bigger picture, we have absolutely squandered the cheap capital era, which is now over. Instead of building anything productive with all that money, we wasted it on green energy, crypto, pot, etc. Nothing to show for it at all, and now we get to attempt to build an actual economy with scarce expensive capital while simultaneously servicing the huge debt load incurred previously with nothing to show for it.
It's always been expensive. It looks cheap today because the numbers are higher. 100 years ago they said $218 for a Ford truck - that's insane. I remember when it was $176. Its nuts, no one will be able to afford one soon.

Oh and some Canadians made 161 billlion. All depends which end of the transaction you are on. The smart one or the whiner one.

Will be little change till gas prices go up. Too cheap to matter for now.

              ???
I have no idea what your response has to do with my original post. I'm lamenting the fact that a productive business which created something and adds to our gdp, has been lost and replaced by yet another most likely money losing pot operation. And that has what to do with the price of Ford trucks 100 years ago? don't be a chuckChuck, try at least reading the post before responding with some preconceived notion.

Your next crypto scammer domino has emerged.

$60B known assets on books, unable to provide an audit of the business when requested by clients. Unknown leverage and exchanges with other crypto platforms.

Charges from US govt, informal accusations they engineered the run on FTX. You dont take down the 2nd biggest illegal Democrat donor and not face Hillarys suicide squad.

These yung uns who thought they were so smart forgot to check about the deep state running the show

But what about a, “balanced portfolio?” and all the whipper snappers who pompously proclaimed the virtue of, “portfolio diversification”. Hmmm

" JUST IN: FTX new management says the company has located over $1 billion in assets, including $720 million in cash"

$720 MILLION seem like fair bit of cash to have overlooked.
                          Fraud all the way.
