      Is this Lajord again?

Now that didn't take long if this is true.

$500T fert will mean $500T canola. Better sell out before that happens.

Good luck paying million dollar combines and tractors with $11 canola.

        Where will wheat be??

Durum falling like a roller coaster.

Could be a make or break year.

World fertilizer market appears to be a coulda, shoulda, situation.
Big inventory but looking at the big prices in the mirror.
            Commodities can be humbling.

Don't wait to long but don't get caught making someone else's mistakes yours.

U.S. Gulf and Middle East urea have plunged since fall. Gulf urea down about 40 percent since early Nov. These markets now likely becoming oversold, but prices in key global export locations will likely stay well below year ago levels (IMO).

But isn't Western Canada fertilizer prices based out of the gulf or NOLA?

Or have they changed it to where the high world price is even though much of the Urea around here comes from plants within 200 miles.

At some point don't logistics become an issue? If everyone, everywhere keeps waiting for prices to bottom before they buy, will there be enough product, and enough transportation, and enough time to get it all distributed before the northern hemisphere planting window? The whipsaw could be painful.

Yes it could be worth $600/t but you can’t get it. Increasingly becoming a problem at seeding. Cow guys famous for last minute purchases have gotten caught with no nitrogen to buy. Heck supposed to bring fert home this month but supplier rationing as urea plant broke down. Could be a mess this spring for some.

It’s been tricky finding trucks to move barley here in January……. I can’t imagine it’ll be better in May. I’ll gladly pay more to have it in my bin than hoping the retailer will have it at whatever price they deem “necessary” at go time.

Bins pay………. Most of the time😉

Maybe Nutrien will give up there membership in the WEF. Wonder what they think they are going to get from that investment. Shopping for inputs and avoiding 'woke' companies is a challenge this year.
