If T&C were a Canadian territory, once a migrant arrived on their raft or boat, and were to step on the beach, they'd be treated exactly like those crossing the boarder at Roxham Road. T&C would turn into a migrant camp and be flooded with illegals. It would turn a beautiful place, that still has beautiful clear water, into a sh*thole country. And they'd all be staying put, until Trudeau flies them by the plane load, back to Canada.

BTW, what difference does it make what dollars they/you use there???
In case you didn't know, banks and money houses can convert your CanBucks into anything you want(except maybe rubles now) If your concerned about the fee these institutions charge for that service, then it's likely a good bet, you can't actually afford to go in the first place. Do you think a jug of milk would still be $5 CAD?

I've been to Grand Turk, it's beautiful, the beaches are as white as the pictures you see show. The water is clear for snorkeling and likely great for divers too. The people are wonderful, but it is a tourist stop, and really that is most of what goes on there. Highest elevation in all T&C is only 49meters, most of the land is likely less than 15m above sea level.. Wouldn't really want to be there if a hurricane were to hit.
Did you miss any hot ginger bread issues for the Great White North MAGA crowd.

Conversion therapy (for your money), supply management for your milk, lack of pipelines for our resources, sea level rise that takes out islands, a change of crossing points for migrants, impoverished farmers, and an expansion of shit hole status.

    Happy New Year, beaverdam.

actually , the diving is quite dissapointing
long boat rides, a lot of cliff diving , i was surprised , expected a lot more
one place that i was pleasantly surprised with was tobago , almost getting close to Roatan
of course haven't dived red sea, maldives , great barrier , fiji, etc. , so am in no way an authority

Our friends brother bought a house on Grand Turk just before Covid. Loves it. Laid back, safe, only needs a golf cart to get around. We have been there a few times on cruises. Lots of Canadians own or rent here.
