I’d think it’s prefab slabs with vertical holes in the concrete. Like some apartment floors are built with, I could be wrong but it’s my best guess.

Was that built a few years back. I recently got quotes from 4 different companies, for a pole shed, no insulation, $24sq/ft.

              Price increase is nuts.
Our pole sheds in 2011 were 12.50 a Sq ft.
Do all use laminated posts now?
Ours are 6x6 solid posts.treated all the way..

Most I believe are laminated now, I could be wrong but I think 6×6's longest stock length is 24'. Which is fine up to a 18' eve.

Some thing does not add up.

A concrete floor capable of handling loaded semis…. With footings is way over 24’/sq Ft… just for the concrete work alone. Plumbing and sumps in the floor on top of that. Outside 3’ aprons with a couple of 12’ pads outside…around the outside of building are $25,000 at least… for concrete work that won’t fail with foundation work. Add in floor heating…. Another 5$/sq Ft.

Bathroom and tool rooms, office all on top.
Add for decent air system. Insulation under the concrete floor… on the footings…. R24 minimum.

Fans, lights, electrical… add at least another 15$/sqFt. You get exactly what you pay for…. A 4’ foundation is not sufficient for a shop with loaded truck traffic.

$100/sqft is minimum for a fully finished new shop. Defying gravity is a……. R44 walls and R55 ceiling should be a minimum with the cost of heating. Rooftop should be sealed with no exposed bolts galvalume for 60 year life… 1/2” plywood under the roofing minimum.

                        Cheers

                          Sorry about the orientation….70’x100’x20’

The roof structure is of sufficient strength for solar panel installation.

Building a lasting future is an interesting journey!

                          Blessings
