Last spring you were doing seeding trials with different tools, also different row spacing . Just interested in how yields turned out. Not sure you might of posted earlier and I missed it.

We did canola and wheat side by sides .
Canola was the Horsch planter at 15 in spacing and the new SR Seed Master on 15 in spacing
We went almost 1 lb heavier than normal due to lager 7.8 tkw
End of the day the SR seed master will be within 1/2 lb of a planter for the same results we believe.

The wheat trial was the SR seed master again beside our Bourgault 12 in space with 3.5 in paired row . It says 10 in but it’s a 12 , typing error.
Will try again this year if time allows for curiosity sake .
I think in the future Dutch will make a paired row opener for the SR and results will be much closer I believe.

SR SM on left at 3.5
Horsch on right at 3
The Horsch still unbeatable for establishment we believe but limited on fertility , higher maintenance and can be very finicky with sensors depending on seed size and treatment quality.
The SR has been the closet to planter establishment we have seen yet over the 6 years of running a planter .
In conditions where we run the planter at 2 lbs we believe the SR SM will be equal at 2.5 lbs
